Gift Book Program
Would you like to encourage your child's love for reading and help our library grow?
Our Gift Book Program is a way to donate a book in honor of a special person, or to commemorate an important occasion. This could be given for a child's birthday, to honor a favorite teacher, or to remember a loved one. A bookplate will be placed inside the book to honor this special person.
Our Gift Book Program is a way to donate a book in honor of a special person, or to commemorate an important occasion. This could be given for a child's birthday, to honor a favorite teacher, or to remember a loved one. A bookplate will be placed inside the book to honor this special person.
Here's how it works:
- Fill out the Donation Form. You can download it here or pick one up at the library.
- Send it to school, either to the library or the main office with a $15 donation. Checks should be made payable to Chandler School.
- Your child will be invited to select a book from our shelf of newly purchased books.
- After the commemorative bookplate is placed inside, your child can be the first person to check the book out!
