OUR PROGRAM
Students have a weekly library period during which they learn about book and authors, library skills, and how to locate materials, and check out a book. Books are checked out for one week, but can be renewed if the student is still reading it. If your child forgets to return the book on library day, he or she may still select a new book which will be held for one day. The next morning we'll swap the old one for the new one.
LOST OR DAMAGED BOOKS
We'll send a reminder notice if your child's book is late. If the book is lost, it will need to be replaced. You will receive another notice with the replacement cost, so that we can purchase a new copy as soon as possible.
Although we remind the students about proper book care, sometimes a book gets damaged beyond repair. Accidents happen! In this instance, we will also request that you send in the replacement cost.
